If I'm not listening to "trance,"
I'm probably listening to 80's music...
or old rock; Doors, Pink Floyd, etc...
You can learn alot from these particular genres...
Why do you think these remixes keep popping up so often?
Alot of us grew up on other types of music,
and alot of producers put their perspective of the song into the remixes.... which sometimes makes for a better song. |

I like all different kinds of music my favorite bands are:
311
Sublime
Deftones
I don't really care to much for rap r&b or other "ghetto" music but I do like a few older songs for groups like wu-tang. the only hip hop that i really listen to now is by a group called Dead Prez
Besides that its pretty much just electronica besides Trance I don't really prefer one genre over the other if I just listen to the tracks that I like even if some of theme are cheese :p :p |

yeah I could listen to pretty much anything else but hip hop,it was ok when i was like in middle school but it is just getting way out of hand.
i like some pink floyd,sublime, i listen to some country music sometimes too. |

Yeah that is a great song.... but my favorite is "Into Dust"... on that same album, towards the end.... that song is ALL TIME GREAT STUFF!!! sometimes i like to just look at the stars (if i can see 'em), play that song, and dream....
