| Nope...for the same price you can get an Archos 20 gig player I think. |

You might want to reconsider buying an IPod because of Apple's totally ignorant issue with the IPod battery. The battery is a built in one and when it dies, and one day it certainly will (usually after 18 months), you will have to get a replacement battery for 100 bucks. Check this out:

You are much better spending your money on another MP3 player. |

check iRiver, they offer Mp3 players in all forms, and are very comparable to ipods, but cheaper and they provide you with all accessories, unlike Mac products which require you to buy Firewire adapters in you use a PC for example|

| no, ipods should die. i'm not too fond of mp3 players myself. why not get a cd/mp3 player or, for that much money, why not buy a freaking turntable instead?? |

| Ipod hands down - nuff said. And if you have many gigs of music, then get the 15GB - wont regret it. |

Why get a laptop if could get a desktop?
Why get headphones if you could use speakers?
Cd/mp3 players are alright, but with mp3 players, you dont need to bring cds, if an ipod or similar you just put it in your pocket, like your cell phone, but its a bit heavier.
Ive had my 10gb ipod for a long time now, the only complaint i have is not enough battery life.

thats looks alright, has nice features too. Do you know how big it is relative to other objects?
Another plus for iPOd is firewire, its faster than the USB2 that the others use. |
