I rarely feel alone therefore I rarely drink out of depression. And I don't have a boyfriend.
There have been only 2 points in my life where I was THAT lost that I resorted to drinking just to not feel. And to answer your question...yes, I did drink alone.
Once in a while I will have a rough time and always look over to my stock, but I just don't feel the dying need to walk over anymore.
Everything changes once you find your purpose in life and realize that you don't absolutely need to have someone to be happy. My goal is by no means to be single though. |

Whoa, I think you're reading too much into that! I just don't like to hear about people making a habit of drinking alone, that's all - if you haven't felt the impulse to do that in a long time, then that's good. :)
Besides, your goal *should* be to be single, relationships are nuthin' but trouble. |

hmm... I strongly disagree with you in this one, mate.
Obviously, you need to be okay with yourself before getting into a relationship (if you're not alright on your own you're not gonna fill this blank just because you found someone else), but the chance of being in a relationship is fundamental to know more about yourself.
Some people are blatantly too immature to cope with a serious relationship (I'm not talking about you, by the way) which makes some relationships so hard and full of mind games, but we can't generalise :) |

You live in a different civilization, Maaz - believe me, over here there's no one with that level of maturity, society is all-corrupting. And you know, I'm okay with that, I don't feel alone, I'm not avoiding women, I just think why commit to someone when they obviously can't reciprocate? When it's time to get married I'll go to Sweden or Poland or the Phillipines or something and find some virgin who hasn't been tainted by western society. :p
Edit: and yeah, I suppose there's always the chance of finding someone before that, but I ain't holding my breath. Hence her point of "not needing anybody else to be happy."

Although I don't believe the society I live in is too different from yours, I can't really say much due to my lack of knowledge on this issue (Canadian society, that is :D). Nonetheless, many of the things I read from you were actually very helpful, and I guess I'd better also thank you for that.
I don't think there's a need for you to go abroad, maybe if you look close enough, you'll find out your best pick is not far from you :)
I'm extremely optimistic, I know :D |

| i dont care if my girl is effected by wetsren civilization im just not have my kids tainted by it...once ive accomplished all i need to accomplish in this hell hole i call home (t.o) im flying straight to italy to work on my olive trees and acres of vineyards and export my olive oil and wine to canada...live the lifestyle ive always wanted..while boning the chick ive always wanted to bone... |
