Brazil is a must see

Pink panther 5/6 dvd boxed set out in april

I own a bunch of movies from the criterion collection link but they're way off of the mainstream. One of the saddest movie's ever from the collection has to be Autumn Sonata.

I also have a bunch of hitchcock...

Wow all these posts in this thread and also in the other POST YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE thread and not once have I seen anyone mention anything from the Criterion Collection

What do you have from them?

I don't have any DVDs, but when I start i want to get the Criterion Collection of Akira Kurosawa's films (Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Stray Dog, Ikiru, High & Low, Rashomon, Throne of Blood... etc)

Also I'd like to get some of Andrei Tarkovsky's works like Solaris and Stalker.

wow there are some great underrated films out there.. Pretty much anything by Peter Weir is gold (except Truman Show :p ) Fearless and The Mosquito Coast are two prime examples

i need to start my DVD collection soon

- A Band of Brothers - Box Set
- Dazed and Confused
- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
- High Fidelity (c'mon I know we got a bunch of vinyl junkies in here)
- The Rules of Attraction (classic, especially a post wonder years fred savage as the heroine addict)
-Phish - Bittersweet Motel DVD
-Waking Life (an animated philosophical type movie, very interesting, still watch it after 15 or so times and find new stuff)

anyone seen these?

Highly recommended ), Good Morning, I am curious, etc etc Rushmore Royal tenenbaums The tin Drum ( omg shocking ), Wild Strawberries etc etc
