BLACK opening night review (not good)

| to start things off i dont like jp, well i dont hate him or anything but his style just aint me 30 minutes of the same track looped with just different crappy layers is not my cup of tea but whatever. i dont mind him and a few of my friends are into him so we went to go check out the club last night for opening night. as you should all know black is the old exit - but they actually changed a lot of it. to start off the door was a complete bitch, paris was workin the door who some of you may know from the prime sf days and she was in more picky than ever. it was me, another guy and 2 chicks and we got there at like 11 and waited only like 20min or so but that could have been since we were with girls cuz i saw people who looked like they were standing there forever and gettin pissed off. it is paris though so it should be expected a little bit even though i hate stupid door policies. whatever oh and channel 4 news was outside so that was pretty much a sign of bad things to come. got in paid the 40 for list 50 without which i gotta say is a bit steep but it was opening night so whatever. the first thing you notice is the sound system it was actually pretty decent - the old exit system was equivalent to like a crappy boombox but this is actually not that bad - not a phazon but not bad. decent music from like 1-3 then it turned ty real fast and the crap started to happen. the bathrooms were absolute with crap all over the place and the second floor for some reason was insanely hot. supposedly later in the night a girl actually g'd out and died which is what alot of people are saying not sure if its true but im pretty in sure. i mean i was expecting something totally different and it was just pretty much sf in a new place. same retards gettin so ed up they cant move and in it up for everyone else. at around 9 jp gave a little speech saying he had to cut the party early (because of that girl?), how he wasnt gonna be spinning marathon sessions anymore and how people should learn to control themselves but he did say it would be on for next week. i dunno it was just a weird night i dont think ill be goin back. the crowd was typical jp with just a crappy vibe throughout. should be interesting to see if the party lasts or for how long it does - the cops were even there last night. |

How were the improvements and the layout of the club?
I also heard a girl G'ed out and died too, God why are poeple so dumb, didnt they learn from SF's Raid on saturday??!! People are such Idiots, goodbye Black. |

| its a sad fact - the jp crowd is more into crazy hardcore drugs like tina than they are into the music. in terms of layout and crap i mean the structure and everything else is the same but they really did change alot of it like adding new things to the bars and crap. looks like all that money they spent redoing it will be wasted. jp fans are in retarded and are really in themselves over big time. i think the best thing he could do right now is next week if the party even goes on, right during peak time at like 2 or 3am just stop the music and get on the mic and tell the people to stop being in immature and only take what you can handle. maybe if his followers get the msg from "god" himself it might hit em a little harder. idiots. |

| well good to hear about the layout,i liked the layout of exit, just because it was the one of the biggest clubs in NYC, anyway yeah I totally agree with you, on the fact that JP HIMSELF needs to strictly and sternly tell the crowd not to do they cant handle. Simple as that. I honestly HOPE Black does not get shut down, just for the fact it will take a big hit to the Trance scene, AND all the SF heads will now flock to avalon, or Roxy. |

| Im just mad at the fact the club has already made a name for itself, a bad one at that. This club could have been something improveing uppon the trance scene...we could have had some awesome DJ's come and tear it up, I'm not seeing a club bigger than it in NYC at the moment. |

first of all trance would never happen there - i really dont think they are looking to bring outside dj's in and if they do it would'nt be anything amazing. the places you've seen the big dj's will continue to house those guys. that place is defined by jp - it started with jp and its gonna go down with jp. im still shocked by everything that went on THE FIRST IN NIGHT OPEN! This is not a standard club by any means its ed up every way you look at it. |

what sort of guy is this if he attracts crowds like that..these dicks are gonna destroy this scene for you...mate theres nothing i like more than a few damon hills to pass the night away,,,but ghb in a club is beyond a joke..... |

| Is the name of the club "Black NYC"? because if it is i heard on channel 4 that 4 people OD'd yesterday or the day before. in sad how people are, how anyone can take so many drugs they just die, it's pathetic IMO and i have no pitty for any of those people, Male/Female, Young/Old or anything. (I just realized that your friend OD'd John so i will rephrase) Anyone that OD's at a club and if it makes any sense OD's purposley is pathetic. |

strong words mate....spose you must have reasons for your opinions....twats who get so ing wasted that they cant function have no place in dance music...however there are people that have od'd and died on just one or two pills....do you really think that they deserved to die??????....where do you draw the line?????... |
