yeah, but because we are foreign, we feel intimidated by you dutch people, we feel that you guys dont want to associate with us so naturally we dont approach you. its a viscious circle i tell you :|
i did met quite a few of my good friends back home thru TA, they are all normal people, not pale little nerds hehehe
magrec, i dont know if you wanna call rmf still being alive or not. its more of an information site now with a new name and a new goal. still around i suppose :) |

Oh I see. And well, maybe it's just me who has usually no problem talking to foreign people. Others might just avoid foreigners, which can be intimidating. I understand there's this circle. Well at least this forum helps you to meet normal dutch people, fortunately. So you can at least enjoy your stay here :D |

ok, normality of dutch TAers aside...
I'm trying to decide if it's worth making the trip out to Eindhoven this friday night to see Rank 1, but I'm a little skeptikal about traveling 2 hours out there and back, do any of you know where Nijmegen is and how far it would be from Leiden by public transport?
For those interested, here are the March dates for Rank 1 in Holland:
March 19 Insiders / Eindhoven / Netherlands 23:30 - 01:30
March 25 De Wolk / Nijmegen / Netherlands 00:00 - 02:00
March 27 The Matrixx / Nijmegen / Netherlands 03:00 - 05:00 (same day as Ferry & Ronald van gelderen (spelling?) at Asta, Den Haag)... |

Dude, not at the same day as Ferry in the Asta,
but at the same day as Arise in Breda with TA-dj's and Dazzle/Perry O Neill.

| now that you mentioned that. i think i'll keep an open mind about it. where can i get more info bout the party? all the usual stuff, the plaats, hours of event, cost, dj's, directions, etc etc |

I went to Sensation and met some people from RMF.... great night that and good to put some faces to names....
It still pops into mymind everytime I hear anything about Sensation.
I was back there in 2003 as a guest of ID&T... still the most amazing party going....

Nijmegen is around 2 hours travelling from Leiden.
But De Wolk ("the Cloud") is just a cafe full of drunken students :D, not a club!... Not interesting for you I think.... the Matrixx is far better... one of the best clubs of the Netherlands, but there are also much alternatives that same day which are much closer to Leiden. |
