roger sanchez was there on saturday night.. i bet it was a good party, he's an amazing dj, i still haven't gotten a chance to see him live tho. damn it! :whip: and he doesn't come around often..

Spirit is a beautiful club with great sound and a desperate need for better djs and promoters. They're going to throw a porn dj party there soon

Interestingly enough, they are on the same block as Crobar just on the other side (27th instead of 28th) I would love to see Chris Fortier there or some other banging prog dj. |

Victor and I begin work for Spirit March 26. Our first Event will be Anthony Pappa, Randel Jones, & Astro&Glyde.
Anothony Pappa opened the original Spirit site before it was Twilo and Sf. Hailing from Melbourne Australia, 26 year old Anthony Pappa is leading the pack of new young DJ's while taking over the world with his hard progressive sound. Randell Jones aka Tigerhook corp. Has been Djing for over a decade. He was resident at Club Vinyl in NYC for the classic Home night on Fridays in 1995 and also played many other clubs including the main floors at The Palladium, The Tunnel and Twilo for various raves. Astro & Glyde are local Nyc heros. They use to work at Satellite Records a few years back.

Finally SPIRIT has come to a realization that Asian Parties ain't gonna keep them business open for long...For once I thought SPIRIT gonna be out of business in few months when they kept hosting Hip-Hop nights over there and was sad that they made "old TWILO" into a hippies place...
Well, hopefully they will stay on top with these new resident DJs and keep the 27th street alive.... |

mate i cant wait,,,i came here to see local djs playing....everyone ive seen so far with the exception of steve porter (class) i can see day in day out in the uk..i wanna see up and coming guys in dirty little dives aswell...kinda getting bored with the packed superclub thing....cant wait to go to spirit though... |
