My apologies--TA Tracks of the Week participants

Well first off I'd like to apologize for how I've handled our TA Tracks of the Week idea. Last week I was one of the last ones to vote and this week, due to personal problems, I didn't even post my review. I know that this idea can work, but I think it just needs to be structured better. There are 38 members now and we only had 6 replies this past week:( So I need the 38 people to tell me what we can do different so they will participate.
I would like to keep this going if people are still interested. It's quick free webspace that I don't want to waste;) If we do decide to keep it going here's what I think we should do.
In order for this idea to work we have to have strict guidelines.
Uploads will be from 8pm(Tue.)-8pm(Fri.) Pacific time
Voting will be from 8pm(Fri)-8pm(Mon) Pacific
The winner will be announced on Tue morning...then the uploading will begin again Tue evening.
Note-If you are sending me myplay details so I can upload ur song it must be rec'd no later than Thur. so I can upload by deadline on Fri.
I am going to keep all 38 people on the list, but turn off everyone's privaledges. You must respond to this thread to be given access again. Please only respond if you are really interested in participating. Also in your reply please state if you want uploading rights or just downloading, but remember if you are only a downloader you must participate by voting or be taken off the list.
Again sorry about how I've handled this thus far...let me know what I can do to make this work better.

| I just happened to read that other thread that X-dream did, and here Iam, well, I would like to have both Uploading and Downloading rights, wich till now I have.. I've done everything till now, I have to use my vacations time, I know some of us have vacations, and once we get back to school or wherever, it will get kinda hard, so lets use this little time wisely ! :cool: |

I hope that more people will do the same as me....Because it hasenīt bean so much intrest from some people....... |

I would like to participate......But what do u mean by upload rights?
That i can give you a track that might be the track of the week?
Well isnt it just possible to start a poll where we can vote....its easier to see which track thas has won... Why do we have to rewiev them? This is not a flame....im just dumb i gues :p |

Mindshooter-your point is valid. I think that the fact that we're asking people to review may be causing less participation. What does everyone else think, should we just vote for one song. If so then we can either start a poll or maybe sly can setup a voting page again like in the beginning.
Oh and upload rights means that you can upload to be part of track of the week.
Andi H-I rec'd your pm, but it was too late for last week. I'll up that song for this weeks competition.
Also I'm adding you guys as you post...so feel free to start uploading for this week. |
