Friday night...
Im currently in Ann Arbor, so not completely 'hip to the scene' so to say...
I think that CU will still be in school, so check out The Hill, its right off campus between most college houses and western campus...on Broadway, if you find that, which you will you cant miss it. On the Hill theres the Rack, a good place if all the other bars are a cluster and you need pool or drinks. The Sink is a really popular place across from La Iguana - a decent but generally overpriced Mexican themed place. If you poke around there youll likely find some more alright bars. The Fox theatre is smack in the middle of things, but it depends on the schedule, and whether you have tixs or not.
If you continue down Broadway (North) youll eventually reach Pearl Street, the pedestrian mall at the center of downtown. Theres The Walrus, sort of a yuppie dive bar, but alright in general. Across the street theres The Rio Grande - and *awesome* place for margaritas, and food if youre looking for dinner and out before 10pm as it closes somewhat early. This is the corner of Walnut and Broadway - theres also the Walnut Brewery a little past The Rio, and The Meditteraean past the Walrus. The last two are nice, but likely not cheap if thats what youre after. Pearl Street has numerous bars, if youre there on a Friday, someone will help you out cause theres too much to mention.
Unfortunately, since Soma Lounge closed theres not much there thats EDM focused. There are some great restaurants and bars if you poke around on The Hill or Pearl Street. If school isnt out you WILL have a good time...if you check out Pearl Street even without CU things will likely be fun. If anything sounds interesting PM me or ask more questions. There's def more I can mention, but I dont want to overdo it. Boulder is pretty damn fun regardless. If bars arent your thing I can suggest some places to chill in the mountains if you just wanna hangout and drink some beers or something. late| |

biz - Thanks for the heads up, that's a pretty comprehensive list of all the types of places my friends and I would like to hit up. I doubt we'll be looking to do any EDM scene and mostly just get dumb and drunk so I'm sure we will be able to work it out.
All I'm looking for is a cute innocent Colorado girl to corrupt :p |

Ehh, I would say Masa Grill has better burritos...but its also been a long time since Ive had NON-michigan mexican food so it all sounds good.

thats all well and good, and i dont know how it is in Madison right now but i know in michigan weve barely broken out tshirts, but in Boulder it will be tan and miniskirt season by then - if it isnt already|
i would say def go here:
http://www.concierge.com/destinatio...Restaurant.xml/
and then figure out what to do afterwards...its the and pretty central. |

Well it's currently 75° and sunny, so I'd say there's definately some skin showin here in CO. I can vouch for The Rio, its their margs are killer, they only let you have 3 of 'em, thats how potent they are. You'll see 'em and be like wtf theres no way that 3 will me up, but they sure do!:D
As far as girls go, I'd say hang around AntronVee, just make sure you dont get him too drunk, coz then the quality tends to take a nose dive! LOL:eek: |
