What a night! From beginning to end I was in heaven.

I unfortunately missed most of VH3's set, but Im sure he was spot on as usual. Typical opening set, he couldnt actually play what he wanted to in fear of being black-balled by the Ottawa promoters.

Kid Vicious started with a bang, dropping bomb after bomb. This is what I remember him playing (I was drinking heavily at the time):

Empirical Labs - Turtle Beach (Outback Remix)
Matt Hardwick vs. Smith & Pledger - Day One (Above & Beyond Remix)
Salt Lake - Rendezvous
Afterburn - Summer Sun
Elevation - Clear Blue
Havannah - Havannah

Ferry came on at about 12:45 and ing blew my mind. His set was structured perfectly to suit me. He played full on trance until about 2am, then played a few electro tracks. This gave me a chance to rest up for a bit. About 25 minutes worth of electro and he was back into trance. Dropping bombs like no ones business. He played 1 techno track (almost seemed to know that I needed a break to take a leak) and went right back into the trance for the rest of the night. He played until 4am sharp, and seemed to love every minute.

Tracklist coming soon.

I give this night a 10/10. I feel really sorry for people who only got to see him in Montreal, they really got the short end of the stick. This was the real Ferry Corsten, he got paid, did his job, and was a total professional. I cant wait to see him again.

It was a most excellent night. The most amusing part was around 10:40 when Ronald and Ferry showed up and they comprised together around 1/10 of the total club population. I decided to keep Ferry company as we listened to Ronalds set and I did ask him why he ended early: He said he was not told when he was supposed to play till, at first it was 7, then 8 then 9, but come close to 8 he was too tired to stay on till 9.
Ferry then went on the decks and proceeded to rip up the place, tore it down and rebuilt it fit in his image!

Raul and Mazen, sorry I missed you guys leave! I was off schmoozing with others :happy2:
Overall it was a 20/10 night!

And the girls!:eyespop: plus the air is nice right guys? no smoking is good!

Great night. Kid Viscious didn't seem as great to me as I was told he was in Montreal. Played some good tunes, but I got bored after a while.

Ferry started cueing up his first song and people started chanting "Ferry, Ferry, Ferry" over and over. Everyone was jumping and screaming to the tune, but it wasn't even Ferry's tune yet. It was Kid's closing tune. lol

But Ferry played a real nice set. I was in heaven about 7 to 9 songs in, as I was really feeling it. Then the electro started and I lost my buzz, so I went to sit down for a bit. A few songs of that, then I was back on the dance floor and I was getting more and more into it as the night went on. Good ch00ns! The crowd loved him! There were some dynamite girls too!

Ferry was very professional last night. :D
I was happy.

I had a good time, but my favorite time at the Surface was when Armin came to town.
