Getting pictures from DVDs

how can you get good quality still-pictures from a DVD? any help is appreciated...

| if you have 'power dvd' software, there is actually a button that says 'capture frame.' my copy of the program just came with my dvd player, and, unfortunately, i dont know where you might get it.... |

you can download it off of toshiba's website.. it ships with there notebooks that have a dvd-rom drive :)

| Well, if you're playing the DVD on your computer just hit the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard; the image will go to your clip board, then you can just "paste" it into any image editing program like Photoshop. Should work, although I've never tried it. |
