fruity or acid for making trance tunes?

hey im new to all this music production but am tired of getting a song i made up stuck in my head and then lost, so i want to make music. I hurd from a few friends that for my level of experience fruity loops or acid would be best ...but which one?

PS im sorry if many people have answerd this sort of question, thanks guys.

I have both and fl is better for producing imo. U can get things done quicker/easier usually and it has a hell of a lot of functions that acid doesnt have.

when it comes down to brass tax.. unless you have hardware, Acid just doesn't cut it becuase it has HORRIBLE VST/DX CPU management.. for example.. one instance of softsynth X will take up 20% of your CPU whereas on better sequencers, it will only take up 10 or even 5%

Well I saw that one in a CD-store for only 5 Euros. I bought it, and traded it for a sample pack just the day after!:tongue3

The only good thing synonymous with Acid is the remix competitions they run on www.acidplanet.com. It's a great site to check back on every once in a while to get GREAT VOCALS!:D
