May 12 - Way Out West "LIVE" - Los Angeles

Way Out West will be playing LIVE in LA on May 12. The venue is technically TBC, but my guess is Avalon...
They are confirmed for Avalon in NYC and basically any gig in Boston (where they play on May 14) is done at the Avalon there...so I am guessing Avalon booked them for all three of their venues...
No date for SF anywhere :(
Note that May 12 is a Wednesday.

And I just realized I'll be down in LA on that dayyyyy!!! But too bad I still can't go :( I will be there for work - the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3)....basically death week of the year for me....well, other than the Tokyo Game Show.

May 12th is a Wednesday which makes me think that this will be a Liquified Event, and they hold their events at The Mayan, unless it is a NYE w/Digweed which they use Avalon, formerly The Palace.

Whelp, the person behind Monday Social down in LA (they just had Jody Wisternoff last week) says they are supposed to play at Sony's big PS2 party on May 12th in LA during E3 but it's not 100% confirmed....but if it's true, I will probably be there!!!
But May 12th is a Wednesday...the first day of E3, Sony usually has their party on the second night of E3.
Note if they do play there, it's a private party for about 5,000 people. |

Well, actually, sounds like it's no where anyone has mentioned...
First, the gig is not confirmed yet...those who are way into the know don't know why Distinctive Records has posted the gig on its site yet...
Anyhow, if it is ever confirmed, it'll apparently be going down in the parking lot at Dodger stadium....or that's the word at least. And it's supposed to be for Sony's PS2 E3 party as mentioned above...which is a private event (DJs/acts at private E3 parties is not uncommon. Ministry of Sound blew the roof off the Sony E3 party a few years ago, and Digweed played for Microsoft's Xbox E3 party in 2002. The big companies go all out if they end up throwing a big E3 party.)
Anyhow, my guess is that if it's for the Sony PS2 E3 party, it won't be in the Dodger stadium parking lot since I was told everything is going down this year for Sony in the same location as the past couple of years...the Los Angeles Center Studios in downtown....and if it's in the Dodger stadium parking lot, it won't be for Sony....then again, my initial reaction is that Sony won't be involved because I their party has always been on the second night of E3, which would be May 13, not May 12.
If it IS at the Mayan..it'll be 21+.

I hope they end up playing out here...wherever it may be....I would love to see them both out in action.
