Best sound card under $300..

Definitely the Audiophile. You can pick one up way under the $300. Especially if you are not going to do a lot of heavy hardware recording, this is the best card IMO.

I use the terratec dmx 6-fire 24/97
It cost me £170 so thatll be like what $250
Well it does the job nicely
got audio input output and digital
MIDI
produces nice sound
i reccomend it! |

tascam has a couple of USB external cards/boards.
I own the US-122 and it works well, sturdy rig and what not for cheap. 1/4 jacks and some good mic inputs, the higher models are probably better tho...more for live scenario stuff, like bands...it doesn't have more than 1 midi I/O tho(1 input, 1 output). |
