| SO Ia m coming home yesterday from work driving back to Oshawa when I notice that there is traffic accumulating in front of me right at the end of the DVP to get onto 401 east. Now, It's 11:00 PM and I don;t see a reason for this. Then I see that the collectors on the 401 are closed. Now, I don;t see any road crew nor did I see any signs all week saying that there will be 401 eastbound collectors closures. Now other than being pissed as to the unanounced, unwelcomed traffic I think "hmm must be some heavy accident down the road." But instead All I see @ WArden is ONE lousy truck with flashing yellow flashing lights driving the other way, wait no, CRAWLING the other way on the collector. I'm thinking if this is a joke. To make along story short I saw three more of these trucks crawling and NOTHING ELSE! No construction crew, no cops, nothing! This went on Until MArkham road where the poor people wanting to get off on their respectively deiserd offramps at the closure had to turn down and find an alternate route down. Is aw nothing in the news this morning of anything hapening ont he 401 NOTHING! I really think these people close the highways just to piss off motorists. Anyone else was stuck in this mess? I really would like to know why ANYone would want to clsoe the collector lanes at 11 o'clock at night for a couple of crawling pickup trucks joyriding. |
