Dating A Track

Quick question for all you TAs. In your opinion does the official year a track is release determine it's "Year" or is itthe year that it receives notice and acclaim?
For example:
If a track is released in, say, November of 2003, but it doesn't become noticed and appreciated until the first couple of months of 2004, what would you consider the track's "Year" to be??? |

| That's right, when it gets confusing is when a few test presses get out late in the year, mp3s circulate heavily and thus by the time the tune gets a proper release the next year everyone says it's old. The best rule of thumb is that the retail release is the determining factor. |

| Make sure to always be polite (ie.say please, thank you, your welcome, open the door for her, pay for everything). If this is the first date don't be too aggressive unless she's a pig. If this is the case, then the best piece of advice I can offer you is BUCKLE UP. Good luck and have a swell time.;) |
