Very well Put. But I'm usually in the same boat. My friends and I make plans and then something pops up sometimes or someone just doesn't feel like going anymore and I wind up not doing anything. I'm def down with going to a club and meeting up with people, but as mentioned before, if you don't know what people look like, how do expect to meet up with them. Also, my own personal feelings, I'm actually a shy person and when I see someone I think I know , I won't approach them because I'm not sure and don't want to bother anyone. But I'm always looking to meet new people and hang out and have a good time. |

Usually, there's TA meetup when a big DJ in town.. attend those meetups and you will meet a lotta new faces.... |

| People who go to EDM events are usually really chill, but at 2/27 PVD I bumped this girl by accident and she just went off on me. Good thing I'm really tall; I probably just scared the out of her by standing there. I just stood there and was like "go away" while she was screaming at me and pushing me, and then she finally got scared and left, but not before getting in my face and sayin "I'll be back for you later." I'm soooo scared, maybe she'll get me at Armin... :rolleyes: |

I'm one of the nicest people on the planet but I've found that sometimes you can only repel fire by fire. Not too long ago I saw armin here and this retard kept yelling "OH OH" for like an hour, I got so aggrivated by him I just went up to him tapped his shoulder to get his attention and promptly yelled in his ear " SHUT THE FUC* UP ". After that the rest of the night was great! No more "oh oh"'s from the retarded kid :haha:
Just be blunt with people ! It'll serve you well. |

^ agree with melissa..
i've done it in various countries as well, not just nyc.. germany, uk, italy.. clubbing solo in the UK was awesome.. just take a train ride up to sheffield of b'ham for GC or godskitchen, had some of the best nites of my life flyin solo! :)

Linx i have done it - it is great - if u want bring yer bunch of friends tomorrow night to Arc for Flemming - good amount of NYTAs will be there - and guarantee ya u will be able to find me - i will be one wearing my TA shirt with tons of DJ sigs on it
