Well, I'd prefer that they don't play it on the radio at all.

What I don't like is that when an artist gets MTVified;), the artist doesn't strive to achieve their best in the future. They get lazy.

It is not the artist that controls their actions anymore, but rather they are controlled by the same media that is spoon feeding filtered content to the public.

My example would be Oakenfold. Sure he was liked more before he achieved fame and such, but after he "sold out", what has he contributed to EDM?

Just my 2 cents worth.
LoCa

I agree, I personally think the track sucks.

OMG Z103 PLAYED TRANCE???!!!11 LOL WTF OMG CPU ^@#%^@^#!!!!

Ya seriously, I'm with RJ, these threads suck ass. If you're already listening to z103 that you obviously don't think it's that bad, so stop ing complaining. We all know that they Euro-ize any track with commercial potential, no need to keep reminding us. Be happy that they play the occasional tune you like and spare us the perfunctory thread every time they do.
Muff2K
the radio sucks.

only good stations are Q107 and 102.1 (morning show only)

everything else is ass.
The Highroller
I heard

Outcast - Hey Ya

and

Eminem - Loose Yourself

artists like that are destined to sell out... its not the mainstreams fault... if they have no love for music, they'll sell out or quit eventually... true artists will never sell out regardless of commercial success...

plus, you have to remember that in europe, guys like ferry and tiesto ARE the mainstream... i really doubt airtime on MTV or z103 will even register a blip on their radar...
