| Maybe I'm just being ignorant, but all i ever hear about is bombings and war over there in that part of the country... yet they have awesome clubs and dj's visit there all the time. Is what we see on the news about Israel completely distorted of what most of the country is really like? |

You mostly see 'war torn' images from Gaza or the West Bank on tv, but that is not where the majority of the Israeli population lives. They live in major cities (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa) and smaller towns. It totally looks different from here, and surprisingly they have an upbeat young adult party scene. Aside from the mandatory army duty, it's a great place to grow up. I wish I'd grown up there- they're a much 'stronger' people.
Israel is also the home of most psy-trance. Psy has got to be the most popular form of EDM over there. |

I share Silke's concern!!! Please be careful and perhaps reconsider some of your music plans at least, while you are there.
You'll be in our thoughts and prayers.....sorry us TA boys can't provide security for you.......just think of a bunch of Canadian boys with hockey sticks and helmets in the desert...hahaha they'd be too confused to do anything :toothless

Nicest club I've seen in Israel yet. So, I'll be jumping from dad's 60th b-day, to a night with Johan. (or maybe it's the night b4, as clubs don't even open til midnight, hence the following day's date). Either way, I'm THERE! |
