Hey all just dropping a line to say hi here.

I was born and lived in Estonia but then mooved out to Australia, and on the way i spent 1 night in your homeland, it was in airport, but i must say you have one of the best presented/structured airports out of singapore/england/sydney/ittaly as i have passed throught them all.

One of my best friends (Ivan) lives in Finland as well haven't heard of him for around 10 years now but never say never.

Awsome country guys keep it up :D

Hey :)
I think the Helsinki-Vantaa airport is ranked as one of the most modern/safe/efficient airports in the world officially as well. Though I actually work there and when you're "behind the scenes" so to speak it doesn't always seem that way ;)

Hi there!

Helsinki-Vantaa is indeed ranked as one of the most efficient airports, but regarding its modest size it's quite natural that it isn't as confusing as the other ones you mentioned. As an old aviation fan and spotter I should hereby know every single inch of the Finnish airports (;)), and if you ask me EFHK (Helsinki-Vantaa) has one major flaw when it comes to efficiency: the luggage claim point's position...

Anyway, this thread has already bounced away very far from what can be distinguished as electronic music, so I'd better stop writing. :)

Btw, how's the club/trance etc. culture in Australia?
Trance-Aqua
No wonder i didnt sleep there for the whole night but walked around in amazement ;)

Clubs here? well it depends what you want, for hard NRG with trance theres a club here known as Sublime that has some good Djs playing there once in a while but usualy its pretty good, has all the wicked lighting gear, crazy architectural aspect and people there are all friendly (coz most are tripping lol)

But mainly its ok id say, havent visited any other good clubs but the Sublime.

What about in Helsinki, many clubs spining some trance???

Edit: As in for sulture its about 2 years behind than in Estonia/Europe, as we are an island after all and all the fashion etc is abit behind but does get here eventualy.

People are game enough to walk around the city with slippers and t-shirts, i find it weird but got used to it. Nothing compares to Estonia/Europe tho you know how it is, once born in your county it stays in heart forever. :D
Kitos. :)

Roger that.

Someone from the Helsinki region should answer that question about trance clubs in Helsinki. Mr Mystery etc...

Moi.

Well, we do have Hallmark doing monthly trance events though it's been on and off a bit since its deal with Hesperia Nightclub closed a few months back. It's back on at a new venue now, though, and had The Thrillseekers playing last time.

Otherwise it's quite slow on the trance side but from what I hear there's some house and hard dance/freeform parties quite often. I don't like that stuff at all though.
