Heh..I just got home cause we tried to find the after hours where Ferry said he might spin. When we finally found the place the two guys who were the only ones who showed up were leaving and the guy said Ferry isn't coming. Oh well, I had a good time anyway.
Ferry played most of the tracks off of Right of Way I think...I also know he dropped PVD - Crush (Vandit Club Mix)
I had a good time...I think that the girl who was sitting down next to me at the end of the night was lucid now...but since I did not talk to said person there is no way to be sure.
I was a little bit shocked at how many people left during Ferry's set. It was pretty packed during the last half of the opener's set then by halfway through Ferry it seemed that it wsa a lot easier to move around and looking down at the floor I actually saw people with room to move around.
Good times...
now time for bed....

Ended up going to this at the last minute and now I'm ooooooo tired.
Good crowd energy, good vibe, and the ladies were lookin top notch tonight :eyes: . I couldn't leave the dance floor allllll night.
But was it just me or was it like night of the freaks? Noticed so many weirdos out tonight (and not the fun lovable weirdos :), just old pervs [for lack of a better adjective]) maybe I just don't notice them usually?

Last week @ sasha I was thinking the same thing. This Weirdo was dancing behind my friend while I was dancing with her, but he was making the weirdest face like he was on drugs or was about to get off, so I moved my friend and 2 minutes later he was behind her again doing the same thing.. After a few choice words he left us alone and moved on to another victim... Freak!!:mad: |

yeah i also noticed a lot of people had left early. ah well. more space for me :D . anyway, his set was a lot harder than i expected. i was pretty much out of gas soon after rock your body rock. from 3-4 i was kind of getting bored, but from 4 to close he played more uplifting stuff and i got my second wind.
yeah i've noticed in the past month or two the crowd is a lot more excalibur-ish in the beginning. usually by 3 or so the more music oriented crowd is left. ah well...just gotta escape to the 2nd floor for a while. |

FERRY OWNED LAST NIGHT!
An amazing set from Ferry,! I was still dancing this morning when I woke up! The best was to hear BT-Force of Gravity live, I absolutley love that song! I was mainly on the third floor looking down on the dance floor and man was the whole place rockin from top to bottom!:crazy:
I have never met any TA's b4 but I did introduce myself to Mr.S, only because I had seen his pic up on the board once. I hope to meet alot more of you guys maybe at PVD.
Yeah I did notice alot of older/freakier people there, some of them coulda been in the punk video! But for the most part I thought the crowd was awesome, even better than the one at Armin! Also to the Chick in the Pink Ultra shirt I danced with during Force of Gravity I 'll be in that same spot for PVD!

omg... so i'm not the only one that noticed that!! :nervous: i was down on the dancefloor for most of the night and it seemed like there was one group of guys that decided to just go up to every single girl and basically start slamming into their asses like freakin rape or something. unfortunately i ended up being one of these victims, lol. its kinda hard to just dance and have a good time when you hafta worry about elbowing guys to get them away from you.
one guy insisted on trying to grab my boobs and ass and i just turned around and gave him this dirty look. :mad:

Speaking of freaky people...did anyone else see the 50+ guy wearing the full length patent leather hellraiser coat and the leather fedora?
That outfit kinda disturbed me....
Was good times....I did not drink so much last night and I feel good today...depending on the workload this week I may make it out to Jeff Mills after all lol.

ok...me thinks i saw everyone else too by ferry but wasn't sure so didn't say hi. i'm gonna make it a point to be at the next meetup so i could finally put a face to everyone
so i totally forgot Global Adrenaline was hosting iCandy in the Vision Dome and the theme was "Punk'd". guess that would explain some of the get-ups we saw. :stongue: |

| I was at Vision on Saturday... however I wasn't feeling well that night and attempted to push my limits and stay for Ferry yet I only made it to 1:45am - right when Ferry was going on. This would have been my first time seeing him. I'm sorry I missed it. Also, I didn't know Ferry was so short! LOL - it was short dj night with Bad Boy Bill starting it off then Ferry. |
