1) Help me on Topic Question
2) What type of cables do I need for my conditions? I have a Sony DEJ-2000 with an optical out to connect to my breakout box with an optical in and an optical out. Also it would be useful to connect to a friend's MD. |

I am not familiar with the model you are speaking of but the "standard" optical interface is TosLink which you can find anywhere these days. RadioShack, Best Buy, even Wal Mart.
