In all honesty, the Guv/KH complex has been much, much better in terms of crowding since Labor of Love. I think its fair to say that all the events since may have been busy and crowded at times but nothing that most people couldn't handle. I was amongst the nay sayers of Guv/KH soon after Labor of Love as that really was a disaster but glad to say that events including the Labor of Love last year have been much better. Not really sure what to attribute that to or if even the club itself is the reason why but whatever this event as others there recently will be a great musical night.
Saw TCM at KH a couple of years back and it was alright I suppose. I can't remember if they were opening for someone or if they were it but they played some of the classic stuff (busy child etc.) Nothing really too energetic - pretty mellow actually but we'll see how they run it this time round. Listened to their new album and though there were some interesting songs, didn't really do it for me overall. |
w00000t? I thought Labour of Love, as far as crowding goes, was a lot better than the last Time I "tried" to see Armin. At least the LOL 2002 I had room to dance in the front. I tried 4 different positions the lst time Armin Came and I left Early before I got kicked out for hitting someone which I really did not want to do. |

Crystal Method might be a unique awakening for many of you. I've got all their CDs and they are incredibly genious sound designers for their tracks. I expect them to play alot of stuff from their latest album "Legion of Boom". Incredibly phat bass, awesome synth leads and always a beat to dance to, and very groovy. Some trancey/housey influences too.
I don't know what JXL will sound like live, but he can't possibly disappoint... he's too well known as a European producer.
AVB is simply gonna put the icing on the cake. We all know he'll take us on a trip.
Can't wait to see everyone there!!... remember to respect the photo-nators!! |
