Breakdown/Euphoric Kick?

Hey all TA's, i dont know exactly what this is called ... a euphoric kick or breakdown kick or..?
Basically ive heard it in a lot of uplifting trance tunes.. and just as the breakdown ends, there is this single kick much like a massive bang almost... with a lot of reverb/echo in it and it much higher in volume... dont know if that explains it well.
Was just wondering how you would reproduce that euphoric kick?

| i just have my sequenza kick bundled with a crash, i know what u mean by that breakdown kick, thats just delay, i heard adding reverb to it kills it or something. |

don't want to be an ass, but actually it is a kick with reverb... You need to know how to apply the reverb (try using a predelay of about 50 ms and apply a large reverb tail)
one trick that i try using is to take various samples of thunder sounds, layer them, compress them, add some reverb, and if done properly, can give a very euphoric sound at the end... |

| If you are a reason 2.5 user there is a preset that comes with the new reverb device , that is for just this purpose. It works okay , just play around with the settings to get the sound you want. :D |
