so for those who went.......how was it?
Dj Nacht
Well steve got on at around 4:30-5 and right away he started dropping some crazy tribal beats. He was playing amazing and the crowd was perfect and then only 3 hours later he left.. I was really pissed that he left cause it was the first time in a while that I enjoy a set that much. Im sure that if he would have played 5+ hours I would call it my best night at Aria.
Assassin
Apparently he pulled a Ferry Corsten ;) and stopped 3hrs into a 6hr set because "the setup was bad". But Im sure he was just tired, tough life being a "superstar" DJ.

looks like montreal got hosed 2 weeks in a row, uber suckage.

I really didnt want to believe it but I guess your right on this 1. He kept changing mixers and I guess he didnt like them both and decided to leave.. I just wish for once the DJ would look into the crowd and see how much fun they are having. I don't understand how he can not feel guilty leaving that great vibe cause he wasnt happy with a set up.

It's not the set-up, apparently there was a technical problem.

Anyways, here's my review.

Got there around two, for some reason, I just don't get into Lafleche's set. Some people were dancing like crazy, his music didn't even make me wanna move.

When I saw Steve everything changed though. From the beginning, with his vocal track, he was building up a great set, and everything was there, the vibe, the music, except for that little technical problem which kind of ruined everything.

I was loving enjoying every track Steve Lawler was playing, it was awesome. Sadly enough, he ended his set early and the dissapointment just made me want to leave, which I did half an hour later.

Everyone knows Steve Lawler has great potential, he's an awesome dj, and he deserves his title of "King Of Tribal". I'm dissapointed with with what happened, so let's just hope this kind of incident will never happen again and that he'll come back soon.

Nice partying with Meo, Jay, Steve, Louis, and the many hotties in the place.

Later.

Lawler was "scheduled" for an 8 hour set, even more uber suckage, I'm glad I didn't go!

yeah this is sad
it was awsome but very short when you exspect a 8 hour set

i think he was in a bad mood that ruined it all

cant wait for him to come back in better shape

when i saw lawler last november, it was for a 3.5 hour set in ottawa....and it was AMAZING........so 3 hours would have been great......but I can understand that people would be less than happy if they had been expecting an 8 hour marathon
