Yes, there was 4 door version of E36 M3. In North America it has introduced in 1996.

4 door M3s were available in the US as pointed out above in the e36 body style. It apparently was not a big seller and is not planned to make its way in the e46 body style. Too bad because I think it would be cool. I am partial to the M5 though.
With the new 3-series right around the door however who knows... maybe for the next M3 we will see a 4 door and maybe even a touring version (wagon).

The next M3 will be a 4 door...probalby M3s will be only 4 door from now on...
...this is if BMW decides to go trough with renaming their cars...they are thinking about renaming the 3 series coupes to 4 series...so we might be seeing an M4 :rolleyes: Hower i hope they dont do that M3 sounds so much cooler than M4 besides Mthe name M3 has so much history behind it...M4 sounds like something that could be made by Audi :mad: |
