Im spending me Spring Break in Puerto Rico. its very nice here. been here 3 days. been to the rainforest El Yunque, took many pics. been to luquillo, where it started to rain, so that beach was bad. yesterday, i was in aguadilla, as this beach called Crashboat.

simply the best beach ive ever been to in my life. clear water, and everything. used to be a dock, now its a beach. there were these cranes out about 100 meters off-shore. and there was a pier that went about 70 meters out. the pier served as a high dive, which was great. and then the dock that was 100 meters out, there was some college students on it drinking and throwing each other off. dock was about 5-10 meters high, so it was high fall. only way u could get to it was swim to it, and climb the rusted steel supports. and that far out, the water was about 20 feet deep. and yet, the water was so clear, u could see all the way to the bottom, so the depth wasnt scary at all. but, it was a bitch swimming back to shore, being so far out, but all u had to do was swim in short burst with every wave, then tread until the next wave came, then you swam more. nice and relaxed.

later in the day, a rain shower came in, and so did the high tide. but that just meant more fun, because the wave became monstrous. with every unusually big wave, which was about 1 meter or 2-3 feet above our heads, everyone screamed esa esa, as it came close, then curre curre, my spanish spelling is bad. but that means run. it'd be like 20 of us grouped together. then we'de all swim as fast as we can and the wave would take us. i hit some people kind of hard, and one freak wave flipped me and smashed my knees into the shore, so i got kind of what is a rug burn on my knees. very fun day though.

there was, some very fine latinas there. i took some pics of lots of them. i took lots of pics of everything so far.

i go back to the states next monday, then ill post a bunch of pics. what all u people doin spring breaks?;)

well, im at my aunt's house. this is my country, so i have many family here.

well today, the 22nd, i went snorkeling about a mile off coba rojo on the southwest corner of the island. coba rojo is nice qaint village. country ide say. puerto rican though, so dont think hill billy. traveling from ponce which is from the east, youll have to pass through another town called san german. very steep and narrow streets, and there was a lot of construct, but still it was a nice place.

continuing

the boat ride took about 20 or 30 minutes ide say. to this reef. or on the edge of it. because the reef was too shallow for the boat to get to, and wave were strong on top of the reef, because some of the reef came up out of the water. still, there was coral below us. water was about 20 feet deep, crystal clear, so i could see all of the bottom. there wasnt as many fish as i thought i would see. though i did see this one school about 10 feet below me of blue and yellow and white striped fish swimming. i tried to swim down to them, and i got to where they were but they swam away, and the pressure was making my mask suck reall hard to my face, so i swam back up.

my mother was scard to go in, and we had to count her down into jumping off the boat. she finally did, but only with one of those "noodles" floating thingies. about 45 minutes into it, the winds started picking up, as did the waves, and water kept coming into my snorkel, so about 20 minutes after that started (wind, & waves) i became exhausted from blowing out water and treading, so i got out of the water, as did everyone else. it was time to go. then as i was changing inside the little bothroom, the engines started. and there, with my trunks half off the boat suddenly jerked forward and fell on my ass. took me two minutes to change pants. and in the process i got sea sick, so by the time i reached the top deck, i was ready to throw up. luckly, i didnt, i stared at the waves, and took deep breathes to stem the naseuh (excuse spelling).

once we reached shore, i still felt sick, so me and my mother went to this beach about 2 miles to the south of cabo rojo, called i think "luyo". very nice beach, white brown sand, crystal blue water all the way out to 100-150 meters. nice women. and nice place to calm and relax m upset stomach. there for about 2 hours til around 5pm.

i drove back to the "autopista este 2" highway east 2. back to ponce, our place for now. on the way, i stopped at a little restaraunt right on the waterline called "Yeyos" Seafood. had some fried lobster and fries, a dacari, and some vainilla flan de quesso.

then drove back here to ponce to my aunts house.

some things about puerto rico. everyone listens to reaggueton, and salsa. its lovely place to live. trance scene is small, but ive seen some people. in the neighborhood where im at, there are these little grocery stores that people have converted from a house. so the first floor of a house is a little grocery store, but in one of them, they were playing some Louie Devito NYC Underground Dance Mixes. the last track of his 6th Underground Mix, the Anthems disc, think CD 2.
