HAHA that's The Last Emperor... I remember seeing that in school like 10 years ago. The emperor took a dump in the bowl and it was one of the emperor's subjects checking it for health reasons or something... |

Yes, this festival does exist, and it's THAT embarassing for western standards. It's something about xintoism, and she said sometimes the statues and stuff were awfully perfect. But I admit I never thought it was anything like what I've seen in these pictures :toothless |
