I am getting a Powerbook G4 either this month or next month and noticed a killer deal from Apple. When you goto their website, goto education and you can buy products from them at basically half price. Retail version of Logic 6 Pro is $999.99. They are selling it for $499.99 You may think its alot of money but it comes with es1 and es2 vsts including the exs24 sampler. Above and Beyond and Shane54 and countless other producers use those and at a price like that who can beat it. 500 bucks for a program like that and synths and sampler included.
You can also buy apple computers or products cheaper than retail. Just wanted to let you guys know since im switching from pc to mac because of many obvious reasons :D :o ;) |

| logic 6 pro is definately £699.99 in the UK, which puts it about $999 in the US. The education deal is great, if you can prove your in education... which I cant. Also the fact that I dont own a Mac kinda kicks me when I'm down :D |

I bought my PB G4 5 days ago and couldn't be happier. The programs def. run alot smoother and hella easier on the PB. If you're going to get Logic also buy atmosphere...they go so damn well together :eek: .
But I have both mac and pc because you never know ;) . I also did the educational discount :tongue2 my PB was sooo cheap :stongue: |

| Basically if you prove you goto school or college, they give it to you cheaper. Its basically half price. With all those extras. Im definetly gonna buy it. Its the same exact version you buy at stores. |

| This is better than the express pack. This is the Pro version which includes the es1 es2 and exs24 sampler and other synths. Good deal i say. |

| Always be aware that Microsofts recommended retail price is negotiable - obviously not in Electronics Boutique or any other city centre shops, but if you ring them direct you can normally wangle a bargain as they are keen to sell. MS do discount for education, health, government, military, business, the only people who pay full whack are the public - and they wonder why theres pirates!?! |

| I actually got XP Professional for 5 bucks from my school :stongue: . They said "I can only use the disk once." They said once you use it it destroys the information on the disk. I guess I must've got a faulty disk because I've used it about 20 times now hehehe :p |
