actually i consider freeform a sub genre of hardcore.

its fast, energy based tunes which rarely have vocals.

then you get the tranceyer stuff like the uk hardcore

then theres happy hardcore which i dont like, cheesy piano tunes etc with crappy vocals.

Hey, interesting stuff but is it only me or doesn't this sound just like the trance/rave music that came out of Germany in '93-'95? Good old Tunnel and Gary D stuff from way back...

I sometimes miss the old 160+ bpm trance tracks so I'm keeping my eye on this for a while and see how it develops :)

not really heard alot of trancecore/freeform for years now... i started to like trancecore nigh the end of my hardcore era. some of the early UK trancecore from the label's GBT and stompin choonz.

this dark star track sounds in wicked, enough to make me switch styles [again] easily :D

brisk - get down ... not 3 bad at all.. still sounds a little HHCish to me.. not discerning enough, but a great track never the less, my dad will prolly like it. but atm my dads proper loving scott brown - like an angel .. and i must say, im with him on that one, not as hard as i like to go but great tunages never the less :)

hehe, I admit: Freeform, Freestyle, IDM, Progressive and Nu (Skool) are lame names, no matter how good some of the tunes belonging to these genres are.
