Me too. I get the feeling it's totally fake. In particular, this part:
quote: | Apparently, a "goon" who read my post took it into his hands to locate an account on a different message board, where I stupidly used the same name and avatar.
This of yet unnamed goon somehow acquired my phone number, called my house, and spoke to my parents and explained the situation. |
The easiest way of spotting hoaxes is the "point of view" problem - i.e. information is presented to us that seems perfectly reasonable and logical, but there is no way that the person telling us the story could possibly know it. Specifically, you have to ask:
1. How would he know that someone found his account on a different message board?
2. How would he know that they called his parents? Perhaps his parents read it on his computer, browser history or something.
3. Why would his parents tell his sister? (The only thing this would possibly accomplish is to embarrass her and scare her, it would make much more sense to keep quiet about it).
4. Most importantly of all, why would his parents believe the most ridiculous of accusations from a stranger on the internet who probably did not even know his name and would have had no possible way of proving it?
We're given these 3 facts that are seemingly connected but actually have no logical connection, and if you put yourself in the position of the "character" who wrote this, you see that he'd have no rational way of coming to the conclusion that he came to.
I could be wrong, though. If it really happened, I don't think it's funny at all either. The [possibly fictional] guy wasn't going to molest his sister, he was just being a dumbass. But I still call piss-take.
*edit* and let's also keep in mind the obvious fact that his avatar and status text seem to indicate that this was a joke. |

Thank You!
It's still funny though. It would be even funnier if it were real... |

This may be a stupid question DigiNut, but are you the guy from that hilarious video where a guy and his friend pretend to pop a pill and go crazy listening to gabber?
There's also a heavy metal one as well......
The pic in your avatar looks like the guy in the video. If you are, mad props to you! |

lol. he's desparate man. at least be supportive.... but i would never ever sniff at my sister's panties no matter how desparate i am.
i'd rather go get a hooker and get a real poon even if that'd cost some money. but i think it's better than sniffing on your sister's underwear and get your life ed up like his is right now. |
