A single sampler can have 10 outputs (or more)
So for perfect mastering, you use as much channels as you have physical outputs, so you can eq every single sound coming out of your synths. I would need a 24 channel mixer to connect every physical out of my synths and I only have a 16 channel mixer. I would definately be able to do a better mastering with a 24 channel mixer. |

| can anyone explain how a mixer is hooked up? and what it does exactly and such.. becuase just about everything that it seems to do, can easily be done in the software... |

Why not just get a more powerfull soundcard/Audio interface?
or Route certain things to busses? |

Funny you should say that. I just bought the DVD and watched it last nite. Yup, besides watching Tiesto grinning non stop i get to see what's in his studio!
So far i can make out.. Alesis Andromeda and Korg Karma. I can't see if he's got a virus or JP8000 tho. Can't make out the speakers either but they are definitely KRK's. (yellow cones) |
