So you know if you said to me, name 25 million people who would maybe be President of the United States, he wouldn't have been in that category. So you never know. Anyway, I haven't been invited to the White House for any things."

...i can't say that i like bush ...but it was pretty funny to see him trying to joke at the dinner ...
especially when we saw him with the cards saying it was a good way for him to learn the names of the foreign presidents or ministers haha

| you guys are f*cking morons. i wonder if you'd be laughing if you were one of those civilians losing a your limbs or your eyes or your life, i wonder if you'd be laughing if you saw your wife and three daughters all get killed or if you saw your son die in the army all in the name of this bull war, the fact that you think this kind of behaviour is acceptable shows how completely spoiled and perverted this society has made you, i'm literally shocked and appalled you see nothing wrong with this because what you are in effect saying (and you're all the more of an idiot for this not being inhertitly obvious) is that its okay to laugh about people getting killed why you're home snug as a bug, its retards like you, that make the political forum a total waste of time to read and its proven time and time again every once in a while im bored enough to glimpse into this forum |

Easy there Nalin. Everyone has their own opinion, and not everyone will agree with yours. I'm sorry how you feel about this forum. Despite other opposing views from my own, I personally feel this is a very well informed and diverse political forum.
But hey, that is of course, my own opinion.
Aside of that, I largely agree with the rest of your post. This is a sick f$cking joke, and it's appalling our own president is cracking jokes about his failed reasonings for going to war, let alone making light of the f$cked up situation we are in right now with many lives being lost. |

I think the joke is pathetic. To think our own President would try to make light a situation upon which millions of lives depend on the outcome of a war that was begun under the guarantee of WMDs being in Iraq. Now that the "mission" in Iraq is being questioned, people in different places in office being questioned for intelligence purposes (or lack there of), he finds it high time to make a joke? :rolleyes: |

I'm 50/50 on this one. On one hand, you have to admit that it was actually very funny. On the other hand, it could be argued that it was in rather bad taste, you know, with the thousands of deaths and all.
