| Ever since I have started making my music I have been searching for software or rather VST or DX softsynth that can create a realistic sounding pan flute. I am wondering if you know of any software I should check out. Thanks. |

There's a reaktor 4 pipe sound emulator that is alright...
There's alsd an ethnosound VST somewhere that works via samples for most ethnic instruments, but I forget the name. |

| Don't know what a pan flute sounds like, but have a go at Edirol HQ Orchestral. It has a wind section in there. It sounds good, but not amazing. For the price, its quite a nice little program for making those kinds of sounds. |

Hey people,
Does anyone know how to create the pan flute sound in REason? I guess it's impossible, but maybe someone knows how to achieve this.
Cheers! |

NNXT? don't use reason but this would be your best bet. Natural instruments are pretty tricky to clone using VA's. |

Hey Cheg!
Yeah i was thinking the same, but i think the pan flute is way too complicated to make this sound in Reason...

| absynth 2 is the way to go... it CAN actually manage to synthesize a realistic pan flute if you know what you are doing or if you just look thru the patches... ;)... be ready for steep learning curves though... |
