Ever since some TA mentioned the "dying cat sounds" in Sahara, I just can't stop laughing when I'm listening to that song. I can picture a cat singing the tune (at least the beginning part at the most).

I like Kalahari a little bit more than Sahara. Really worth buying.

This track definetely needed some cleaning up before releaseing it. Some great direction and sounds... but needed some serious work on the loud 'dying cat sound'as well as the overall mix. That sound could use a bit less of a twanging sound [slow attack] wich also makes it sound a bit out of sync whne you listen to it carefully in hifi. Doesn't sound professional enough when you listen to it closely. Really weak on the high hats and just really not mixxed and processed to nearly its potential. The kick is also too out-of-the-box sounding. I was looking forward to this release and was going to include it in a radio set I had to record recently, but on close inspection once I got a copy was disappointed.

hehe, probably the first version in 128 kbps then, the kick was way too loud in that one. it has gotten mastered for release now, shouldn't distort :)

btw, 2003 mix? hehe, it was first made in 2003 :p
Stanza
I find this track quite annoying..
