No serious
After a long time, I started listening to some trance again.
I listened to in search of sunrise 3
Never liked it that much when it came out back then.
And guess what, it ing rocks, I love it now lol
southern sun, I love it lol.
it's much better when it gets older imo.
Anyway, just wanne say I love it lol.
So great to hear all these tracks again!
Why is it so the human mind always thinks back in the past, it's like memories are better then reality... |

I had exactely the same experience with ISOS3 a few months ago. The reason we all didn't like it THAT much was simply due to the fact that by the time it was released (early summer 2002) we were pretty much sick of listening to most on the tracks, especially SOuthern Sun, Summer Calling or Mindcircus. But a few months ago, after a sleepless night ( I had high fever and extreme headache) I tried to chill to that mix, waiting for the sun to rise (literally). I was simply blown away and almost had wet eyes by the time Open Your Eyes kicked in. I already consider the mix a classic.
Memories are probably "better" since we choose to save the positive experiences on our hard-drive for the most part ;) |

| ISOS 3 is in my mind the ultimate summer trance mix. It's just awesome. I can't imagine listening to it at any other time of the year, other than when it is warm. A great mix. |

people like to escape reality. whether it's through music, daydreaming, movies, books, drugs/alcohol, etc... when gets bad, we love to think back on better times. our minds are just wired that way... repression.

Yeahh I've thought many times about that. Is reality as bad?, cause it seems we want escape every time from reality.

HOLY E thats exactly the thought that I had today is that the nostalgia and memories are much better then reality also like that with bud, u r stuck between reality yet ur far away enough to experience that nostalgia and memories :eek: strange |
