I am moving up from a 56k to a DSL in like 2 weeks so I know how slow 56k is and I feel your pain. |

im 19 and been paying my bills my car... and everything i have since i was 16. so just be man and stoping crying!

| i turned 17 a month ago and had a job since last year for dsl. i'm paying for it myself man. Arg i hate work too grrr but then again i wasted all my money and my mom yells at me for it. Keeps saying stuff like i dont give money to her. damn it |

we moved to another company - but we still on ADSL connection...
its just much cheaper from the other one!
only 9$ a month (in israel its the cheapest!) for 2 first months!!!
now its the first time i connect from the new server!

wow - you must have lots of friends...( :) )chill-out man - not everyone smart as you are...
the job i have is not permanent - only 3 event in a week - so i can't pay for everything - plus in 3 months i join to the army and i dont want to work harder - i will suffer enough in the future (airforce in the israeli army is hard enough :) ) |

| Luckystrike, how much you paid for DSL in Israel ?!? 20 bucks?!?! you know how much we pay for 56K here in America ?!?! 21 bucks !! and DSL is 45 BUCKS, I pay 55 for my DSL as a whole. Now thats a reason for a DAD to be pissed hehehe |

:D well , the cheapest ADSL company (its the one i connected - i think) takes 9$ for 2 first months and then its 49$ for each month! |

Guys, can I complain too?
I got 33.6K (okay, you can stop..for real, get Urself back in the chair...come on, U laughed for the whole fukin' week now...okay, that's about it! - COL)
And I don't get faster than that for a time now (well, I justed moved in Van 2 months ago so..) And all my friends have cable. The worst is I keep the line busy.. plus I have slow DL (I don't even bother tryin'...)
Well, I'll live with that...it's good enough I can access TA and use my mail (I hardly have time for these two lately..but I will not forget U guys..);) |

I'm glad your going to be able to stay at high speed luckystrike...:D but I gotta wonder after reading all the posts if anyone considered to fact you live under your Fathers roof and what he say's goes....It's good that you two came to a compromise about the cost factor but ya know that as long as you live under your parents roof ya gotta follow there law....not everyone has got laid back parents and often times they do it thinking it's for our own good....ie you'll save money....they just don't understand that after high speed going back to 56K would be like going back to only black and white TV..
