Next monday at the school that I work at I'm in charge of an Aerobics class which consists of just around 250 pupils aged between 5 to 8. The session will comprimise of mostly star jumps and leg curls.
What tracks should I play (preferably trance plz)
Your help is much appreciated. Thanks in advanced. |

Anything that Tiesto/AvB/Corsten/PVD play...
Most of the stuff they play sounds like its made by little kids, for little kids! |

Don't expect little kids to like build-ups and stuff, specially in an aerobics class. I know this may sound dumb at first, but get some tunes from DDR. The people who produce that machine/game have in mind that the users want something fun to dance, and they choose all their tunes based solely in the fun factor and the energy of the tune. Or good ole eurodance. And not so frenetic happy hardcore (otherwise they won't be able to follow the rhythm, hehe).
Look for:
Vengaboys - up and down, we like to party, boom boom boom, skinnydipping
Aqua - Roses are red, Barbie Girl,...
Tempo - Everybody get up
Smile.dk - Buttefly
Captain Jack - Captain Jack (I used to go nuts over this tune back when I was 11 years old)
Reset - Wings of Love
Critical Mass - Happy Generation (maybe this will be too fast)

| I'm kind of in the same situation, but it's my sister's Bat Mitzvah and she wanted some trance tunes. So what I recommend is to take the edits or radio mixes of the songs mentioned. It cuts out the beginning and ending 2 minutes and pretty much just gets to the point of the song, if you know what I'm saying. |
