Well what a wicked night and a way to celebrate 5AM’s first birthday! Firstly, I'd like to thank Duncan Bay and Albert Mangler. why? Duncan introduced me to my first 5AM (MArc Dawn '03) and was an opportunity for me to meet Albert and hand him a copy of my demo cd (....you're listening to the trance sounds of Chris Pana... :haha: If it weren't for 5AM I do not believe a lot us would be out and about like we are! I would also like to thank Loulabell (Leah) for all her involvement in the promo side of things and her willingness to always lift the profile of 5AM. Well done to you and your experience promoing! :D I would like to thank the whole 5AM crew and all the TA/Trance punters because if it weren't for the crew and all involved, this night would not have been possible. I had an absolute ball and hope everyone enjoyed it much the same! I was paired with Pat Mar and boy did we have fun!:D
Our set looked a little like this:
Ambush – Acapulco
Firewall – Sincere (Lange Rmx)

Tears from the moon (Tiesto Rmx)

Flaming June 04
Born slippy (Oakey Mix)
I'd have to say the vibe was fantastic and was a good time to really let it all hang out 5AM style. Highlight of my portion of the versus would have to have been flaming June 04 and Born slippy (oakey remix)...the reaction to both tracks was fantastic. Thanks to everyone that showed their support! :)
Great work by the openers, Callum Richardson (Raving Alco) vs Reuben Owen who built the room up nicely and had people ready to dance.
After our set was Reemo and Julian Reynolds who also did a superb job at keeping the room alive! Well done guys! I'd have to agree that Cern- The message was the highlight of the set!
Caught the first couple tracks of Albert vs Dave Begic and the guys were doing very well from what I heard and the place was going nuts by then!!
Fark that was fun! :toothless Let's do that again real soon!:D |

i second that..
i think 5am needs to attempt to make a permanent fixture at Viper, rather then worry about nights at 'two floors up' and 'altitude'
is this possible?? |

We played at two floors up???
That was Unify :D
I quite like the altitude nights, just a little something to break up routine for me, it's only monthly so something to look forward too. And more of an us crowd I feel.
Still no complaints at viper :p
And have I met you soups? Probably the only perosn I haven't, you've got some good stealth skills. |
