Leicester born Chris Chambers is an up and coming trance DJ who has received recognition from the likes of Guy Ornadel. He has been mixing trance since August 2000 and has played out at many local club nights throughout the midlands. Now living in the West Midlands Chris is looking to further his DJ career by extending his DJ roster and venturing into production.
Chris’s influences range from world class DJ’s such as Armin Van Buuren & Paul Van Dyk through to new break through talent such as Andy Bagguley & Gareth Emery.
In January 2004 Chris came runner up out of over 400 entries in the Ministry of Sound Future Talent Competition ran by Guy Ornadel. Since then he has had guest mixes on Trancesphere Radios Rising Stars Show, ETS-Global Radio and has a mix on weekly rotation on New Yorks, Digitally Imported Radio.
Coming over the next couple of months Chris will be going into the studio with dj/producer Genix & also has a collaboration with Will Holland in the pipeline. Along with production catch Chris bi-monthly at Babypassion (Vica Versa, Loughborough), a 2 hour guest mix on SoundStation351, and also a guest mix on DI.fm’s The Subtraxx Experience Show. |
