Well im thinking about it to buy that bundle collection, but thirst i would like to know one thing.
Is it better to use fx(effects) on the synthesizer itself or as standalone connected to a synthesizer.
Second thing: I heard a lot of people speaking that the main thing about the Acces Virus is the inbuilt EQ
So i checked out the specs of the superwave
Trance Pro
Oscillators, Single, Dual, 7 Oscillators Superwave Mode
Waveforms: Saw, Sine, Triangle, Pulse, Ramp, White Noise, Pink Noise
Controls for Portamento, Volume control, Fine/Detune, Pulse Width, Velocity sensitivity
2 Resonant Filters (2 x 1): 12dB
Filter Types: Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Band Reject
ADSR's with parameter locking facility
2 x Amplifiers with controls for Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release and Lock
Modulation with multiple routing options
2 x LFO's with multiple routing options, Additional Beat Ratios over Superwave P8
Sample and Hold
Arpeggiator with control for Mode, Range, Beat, Midi Channel, Hold, Gate
Effects: Mono Delay x 2 (1 Stereo pair), Additional Beat Ratios over Superwave P8
Proffesional
2 Oscillators, Single, Dual, 7 Oscillators Superwave Mode

Filter Types: Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Band Reject
ADSR’s with parameter locking facility
2 x Amplifiers with controls for Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release and Lock
Modulation with multiple routing options
2 x LFO’s with multiple routing options, Additional Beat Ratios over Superwave P8
Sample and Hold
Arpeggiator with control for Mode, Range, Beat, Midi Channel, Hold, Gate

Performer
14 Oscillators (2 banks x 7)
Waveforms: Saw, Sine, Triangle, Pulse, Ramp, White Noise, Pink Noise
Embedded FM synthesis
Controls for Portamento, Volume control, Fine-tune, Semi-tune, Pulse Width, Phase Modulation, Phase Modulation Depth, Velocity sensitivity
6 Resonant Filters (2 x 3): 12dB, 24dB, Moog
Filter Types: Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Band Reject
ADSR’s with parameter locking facility
2 x Amplifiers with controls for Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release and Lock
Modulation with substantial routing options
2 x LFO’s with substantial routing options
Sample and Hold
Two x arpeggiators with control for Gate, Mode, Range, Beat
Step Sequencer with control for Pitch, Filter, and Gate
Effects: Chorus, Stereo Delay, Reverb, Distortion, 5 band Parametric EQ
So mine question is, is it better to use the performer because he has an inbuilt eq or doenst that realy mather? |

i have the superwave professional and the original free superwave p8...
as far as i can tell, the superwave professional professional is much more powerful and can generate much better sounds and has much greater flexibility but it uses up a lot of CPU processing power... so unless you have a monster machine or you are ready to bounce it to disk or export it as .wav in your projects, be ready for big powerful CPU hog
from what i can tell, the professional and the trance pro are not too much of an upgrade over the original free one so i would not recommend getting them as the original is free... and probably close to being the same.. |

| Sonicstyle |
every synth out of that package has his own unique sound and style,
where the free superwave p8 has a nice filter for strings, the trancepro is more the one for short leads and fast arpreggios, the superwave pro is imho just good for some strings, because its envelope sounds a little bit weird, and the performer, um well didnt worked with that too much, ah yeah, i have some examples, same tweaks on every synth compare the sound,
will add them later |

| Imo the Proffesional is a lot like the p8 imo, but with an arp. The Trance Pro is great for leads. The Performer is good all around. I like it, because of all of the osc you can stack and the onboard effects. Out of all of them it is the biggest cpu hog. |
