How do U feel about PVD closing with For an Angel all the time?

He closed with For an Angel at Winter Music Conference, Miami; his 2 year Anniversary at Twilo & at Avalon, Boston last friday & prolly at other gigs.
I don't think he needs to rely on it anymore. He is NOT a 1 hit wonder. I realize he made the track in 93 & its the song that got him world wide recognition but he has so many other tunes that are just as good if not better. By closing w/*only* For an Angel (the track he's known for & the 1 EVERYONE knows) classics like Visions of Shiva- How much can u take?, Love Stimulation, Forbidden Fruit, & Another Way aren't as well known. I think For an Angelis tired & he really needs to stop closing w/it at every gig. It's stale...like Oakenfold's sets. :rolleyes: Becoming predictable a la Oakenfold & more recently Tiesto is NOT a good thing. It's wonderful for the ppl who have never heard it out but I've heard it like 13450968 times! If he closes w/it at Amnesia, Ibiza Sept 6th I'm gonna be really disappointed.

| anyway i don't care...i think this track is great despite hearing it so many times. unlike other tunes that you get so sick after hearing it for a couple more times.... |

| Who cares, the song is brillant. When you see him play, you frankly don't care what the last song is, cause you want him to just keep playing and playing. |

well since nobody else seems to be replying..i will.
Ive only heard For an Angel @ the club once. It was the worst nite @ the club EVER. John 00 Flemming didnt show, and the replacement DJ wasnt into it @ all. He ed up every mix, didnt mix lots of songs, and then stopped on track and started For an Angel. I went nuts, if u can understand why, cuz its the song that brought me to where I am today. So id love to see PvD end a set of For an Angel. It would ROCK MY WORLD. |

| That song can be played all those 1254313345 times and it never gets tireing .. its that great .. as longest it fits on the right moment, plus .. that tune is so unique. |

| One thing is that i have a few sets from PVD and he doesnt close with for an angel, but even if he does, who cares, he is a top dj and producer |

i voted "i love it", but that doesnt really matter, first at the end of a great set wich PvD usually provides its always nice to finish with a classic. second if you look you will see that the last three sets wern't closed with it, the gatecrasher set wasn't closed with it, the Soundgarden was closed with "Fortunato & Montresor - Imagine" [Elektrolux], and the XXL clubnight was closed with "Starchildren (Rmx) - Guardians Of The Earth (Promo - Promo)"
so you see, i think he thought of that also and realised he must change the closing track.

| Just got back from Ibiza 2 days ago. He closed with it again Sept 6th @ Amnesia. It's tired! Close with something else! He's closed with it the last 4 times I've seen him! |
