tell me about it. my copy of dj hitch hiker - cabal is completely f*cked. i was playing a private party, finished up at 12 (noise restrictions), locked my record boxes and left the room to get stuck into the punch. i came back 10 minutes later and there is this stoned f*ckwit behind the decks trying to put the record on the plate, but rubbing it on the metal light stand instead (1200's). now there is this huge spiral on the record and it makes that 'click' sound every 2-3 seconds. those of you who are familiar with the song will know about the 2+ minute break - well most of it is in this part. im so cold about this that i vowed never to do private parties again.
if you find out how to fix this let me know cos im keen to have a go at it. i heard that a bar of soap on it while it is spinning around is supposed to do something, but i dont wanna try it cos i'll risk the carts being stuffed up. |
