Traktor Help Needed

I have recently got myself a copy of Traktor and after using Atomix mp3 for quite a while, i realised traktor has so many more options its great..... but i have a problem....

I have a Creative Soundblaster 512 sound card (3d card i.e. 2 speaker outputs) So in the traktor options i have set it up for a 3d sound card. I then have the speakers in the front output and the monitor (headphones) in the rear output. Only problem is that when u change the Monitor between 'A' , 'B' or 'Mix' you can also hear it veryu quietly out of the speakers as well as the headphones... (if u see what i mean) this makes mixing a pointless task as while cueing up the next record u can actually hear it through the speakers! :(

Does anyone know why this is happening? I have the soundcard set up fine in windows for 3d games or music/dvd's so it seems to just focus on traktor (but i might be wrong)

please please please can someone help me! i am dying to have a go at mixing well with traktor but failing due to this problem

Thanks

I know a dude with the same problem. But when you are recording,it will only record the main channel, without the background sound ya can hear when youre playing back.

is there no way i can stop it tho? as tbh it makes the mixing thro the speakers sound terrible!

even tho i love traktors options (high/mid/low kills and stuff like that) i am tempted to go back to atomix as it works....

surely there must be some fix for it?

ok from reading up on native instruments site there is an update from traktor v1.0 to v1.06 and this mentions something about a 512 4 channel card.

ok so i get the upgrade patch only to find that it tells me that there is no version of traktor installed :(

Does anyone have a full version of v1.06 ?
