Instances such as these make it difficult to have hope in mankind. Often children are the ones who end up suffering the consequences of a ed up world that is supposed to be protecting them. This is a dark moment indeed.
Hopefully this reminds us all to value children, our future generation.

this is one of the msgs that is being sent around on instant chat. i've recieved a few of them already. My only concern is there must be hundreds and hundreds of children gone missing everyday. We shouldn't feel bad for ONLY Cecilia. We should feel bad for ALL of the children. Putting an X beside my MSN name will not change anything. I dunno what will. Times like these were i wish i could...but i cant.
i wont be getting enough sleep tonite. Not thinking about her but thinking about how sick this world really is. It's time we stop being ignorant. We gotta look up on making humanity better. We're not gonna last too long like this. I give us 200 years max and there will be no more ppl left. May God rest her soul in the heaven above... may God rest all our souls till Kingdom come. |

everything you say is true, but it's just human nature to care more about something that hits closer to home... it's biased and unfair, but that's life.... not to say that i don't care about other lost kids, but just the fact that this happened 10 mins away from where i live and the victim was part of the chinese community it just hits me a bit harder... its just natural.
i hope they find the bastard who did this.... then we should start a fund to reward a gang of inmates to give his anus a good workout... i'm just really angry right now... i'll retract that idea in a few hours....
now apparently the X stands for anti semetism... people need to get a hobby and quit screwing with people who try to show some sympathy and solidarity for the family... |

Very true.....she was one of the Amber Alert cases but there are hundreds that we don't even know about.....

I feel bad for the family..
especially with all the "sympathy" they will be getting.. if people really wanted to something they should just get involved in thier own communities, instead of trying to make like they are involved with this incident. that way the next time something like this happen maybe the kid will be found because more ppl will know whats going on around them. |
