I like this tune, it has a nice flow to it and doesn't sound like most of ATB's past works. |

was just about to start a thread on this. Being played a lot in Vienna. Video is well nice too.
Listening to it at the moment. Her voice is so touching. An excellent piece of work, mostly due to the vocal sample, and well placed echo effects.
I actually think there are several gems in his mass productions. (Fields of Love is a classic summer track) |

Certainly are "you are not alone" "the summer" "9pm - till i come" "hold you" and "let u go" and "fields of love" and "long way home" mass productions, but for a certain reason i like these tracks since i heard them.. and they are all old :) so what about marrakech? nothing, its just wonderful and i love it.. has got its very own ATB atmosphere, and .. it hits the thing sometimes when i drive home and recall my mind singing:
"i am kicking that stone down
your street alone.. [...]
i am taking the long way home" :)
simply.. and uh when i broke with a girl, oooh..

marrakech, if i ever understand its lyrics ;) but that "synthesizer" play after 5min really rocks off.. and that voice rocks too.. echoss own (:
and in the end: the the answer of the melody in "fields of love" is a masterpiece (: you can not blame atb for that, and mass production yes and no, who cares! if you love it you dont care anyways, if the idea of "mass-production" is a critera for chance of a song to be felt "good-produced" then we whould stop that idea. music is for each ones feelings ;) and where- and whenever! it touches, it is simply right.. and that is the goal of music, to make you feel it :)
these artists who reach that have produced good. and that is the point.
and ATB did good, is good, and hopefully will be good :) |

sorry to bump this thread, but i only recently heard this song and think it ain't that bad. The vocals are impressive (the sound of them)..how all trance vocals should be..ethereal etc

I was also surprised to hear that this is ATB-stuff. Yes, his other tunes are good as well, but had a similar "pattern" that this one doesn't necessary follow.
But I have to say that I like the Revolution Mix the most! |

| The Airplay remix is very very very very good...always gets people moving. I think it would have to be my favorite out of all the versions i've heard. |
