I used to take that bus all the time when I was in highschool, but they've changed the routing/fares so much that I can't answer your question.
Not sure what the point of that post was. |

maybe the guy doesn't know english!?!? did u buy the tick at the go busstation at eagle & yonge? ... if yea, he's a :whip:!!
anyways, to get back to your question, res:
i take that bus pretty much every day from newmarket to richmond hill. the 10 tix (all on one ticket) u've bought need to be 'stamped' ~ the busdriver feeds it into a machine on the bus which will 'stamp' it with a black bar code that indicates the time and date u travelled.
that's it! hope this helps! :) |

sweet thanks, i bought it at finch/yonge go station and i told the guy king/yonge
does that mean i can only go from finch - king and from king - yonge using those 10 tickets? or anywhere in between? |

yea that's a good question. i 'think' the way it works is that
u are 'supposed' to show ur ticket when you get on and OFF the bus ... meaning that if u go further than the place u've paid for, then u have to pay in addition to that.
but yes, u can go shorter distances in b/w than what u've paid for, but that would be senseless cos ur paying for more than ur actually using. ... so you should find out if there are other types of tickets u can buy to save money if you're not going the full distance of the original ticket.
also, i can't answer ur question regarding the specific places ur talking about cos i don't know my around here AT ALL! i have no idea where king is!! ... sorry, i'm not a TO gal! :D
but check this out:
http://www.gotransit.com/public/fare/main.htm
Before boarding, ask the station attendant or bus driver if your ticket has to be inserted into a cancelling machine to indicate that the ride has been taken.

if this doesn't answer your question just give them a call! :) |
