ing well good tune, you can play it in a warm up or drop it in a peak time set a la PvD on fri night, and it works really well.
Wrecked Angle remix is even better but it probably will never be released...
For those interested it is on their new album, Meccano Mind, which also has Pray on it :D

It's good... but I'm getting really tired of all the male vocals lately. Where are the female vocal anthems? (Don't make me laugh by saying Burned With Desire or Satellite.)

The Wrecked Anlge mix is pretty off the chain although the original does nothing for me. Very boring typical uplifting stuff but the Wrecked Angle Mix is great but I expect nothing less of Wrecked Angle, and come to think of it I dont expect anything better from syntax as far as the original goes.

IMO it is refreshing to see that male vocals are on the rise nowadays considering the huge saccharine overdose of female vocals trance has had through the years.

Amen to that who doesnt love a good male vocal i.e. amoeba assasin or whoever the person is singing, I mean sometimes the market gets flooded with female vocals and on top of that I was actually analyzing that a lot female vocalist arent that great of singers so far everytime Ive heard a male sing hes been a great singer. Now of course let me not forget what forum I'm speaking in, let me clarify in the limited number of songs that Ive heard with male vocals, compared to the number of female vocal songs, there have been more genuinely good male vocalist than I have found percentage wise of female vocals. This is in no way a sexist comment....

I recognize the value of such a change, but I don't like it. I've never been a fan of male vocals in general, not just in trance. So I can see how others don't mind their rise as much, whereas I do.

It's sad that female vocal trance was ruined by truckloads of invading eurocheese sh¡t after 1998-99. Once cash started flowing from the genre, the race was on to export mediocre tracks with standard voice clones to the European airwaves. Particularly egregious were the vocal "versions" of otherwise decent productions. This year has been the worst so far, with the crap actually gaining acceptance from primary trance listners; Burned With Desire is the flagship of what empty, flat sellout work has been culled from the bloody sacrifice of truly beautiful female vocals. So I don't think the problem is vocal trance, per se, just what went horribly wrong with it once money started talking.

Okay, rant over. In summary: male vocals refreshing? Sure. Something I want as an increasingly common part of the music I enjoy? No; an opinion basically rooted in my own tastes.

Right on, as a matter of fact its Burned With Desire that acutally made me start listening a lot harder to female vocalist, and realizing the mediocre talent that was being shoved in our ears.
