Exactly, but they used it as a cover-up so they had reason to classify it as an illegal drug. |

That was one of the most informative reports I've heard about ecstasy yet. They talked about a German study that found that ecstasy only lowers serotonin levels by 5% and after 2-3 months of not using the drug that it returns to normal.
The show also talked about US Government-backed studies that showed ecstasy causes brain damage. Apparently the scientist who was doing the study accidently injected the test subject with meth, instead of MDMA.
Way to go US Government, you've just provided us all with the wrong information yet again!  |

| i hate it when the government lies. when the truth comes out it made them worst and they still insist on their "lies" are good for the people. i wish they abc did one about roswell/ufo/moon conspiracies :D |

Very nicely done - it presented the arguments from both sides and the footage they showed in the first 15 minutes was a real eye-opener...
...it is true though, if the government was up front and said "ya know, this stuff will damage you, we don't know how yet, so take it easy because you don't know the long term effects" instead of "Don't take it! 1 Pill and you'll get parkinsons and you could die!" - ya, real effective there. |
