| yep; its just like leaving all your friends :( Another part of it is that there are a minimal of party TAs.... art is also right.... hmmm perhaps we'll convert TAs into partygoers... more than before at least ;) I mean the fun you describe... the foundation of it is obviously clubbing.... and there are fewer clubbers on TA nowadays.... perhaps it will peak back up ^_^.... the freshman class shall enter TA club school this year ;).... we'll have fun brianna ^_^ |

| I have to dissagree. I believe we have more party goers now than we had a year ago. I mean take a look at the big picture......this years wmc was huge.....awesome Ta turn out. And just judging from the events that ive been to this year....its only going to get better. Yeah some people move on and stop partying with us Ta's but for every person that leaves....prob about 3 or 4 join us. Maybe its just me....but ive met so many new people from this board that are now friends of mine....Brianna, Indy, Michi, Dani, Ian, Vlad.....just to name a few. I feel that its only going to get better. See you all on the 9th.:toothless |

oh and erin... it's supposed to have happened many times haha ;) i'm pretty new to the scene but i've met brian (@ ferry); indy and michi (@ sasha and digweed); jay, jon, and serge (@ howells in dec), pete (SD and cox back to back nights); mindy (@ armin in october)... the list just keeps growing at each event and i'm glad to be part of it :D |

i agree with ya Bri, Shamus is partly correct too.... the old PPR was special back in the day, i mean for the first 6 months of last year the PPR was a very close group and we all really had a tight bond with each other,.. if a same "spam" thread arose today it would be extremely cluttered with negativity in how stupid a "spam" thread is in a trance forum,... true, but if it wasnt for that thread many of us wouldnt even be friends,... that kinda goes along with the WUFLTA thread in the florida section,... it killed me to have to leave for the Army and to return to see the famous PPR shut down, the Florida forum where i should have posted all along and then finally had a small following and has since brought on some true regulars that have provided what the nyc forum gave me last year,... still, without the PPR i would have never met any of you NYCTAs or DCTAs and now it still seems as if half my buddy list for trance people is still from up north,... all of you i've met are good people but we are also getting older and things change,..... on a side note- musically about 90% of us were obsessed with PvD (really obsessed) and had full reason to b/c his music for almost all of 02 and 03 was just absolutly top notch but he definitely has fallen a bit since reflections came out and we have all scattered like roaches finding a new DJ to obsess with,... TA is still my #1 source for finding who is playing where and when, so it still serves its purpose too.... Z--(Brent) |

| i haven't been posting for a few reasons- mainly cuz i just dont feel the 'community' anymore..lack of interesting posts, i dont like much trance anymore and i dont even talk to anyone from TA anymore pretty much except alex/trancer and adam/wheel of steel and tae and jay once in a while. |

hehe, but seriously. my feelings are very much like bree's in that nyta is like high school. i feel that everyone is very 'cliquey' and if you aren't down with that group, then 'eff you.' so thats probably the main reason i keep to myself and just go with the flow. :thepirate |
